The Kalamunda Garden Festival is an exciting community event that is staged four times a year on the first Sunday of every season (autumn, winter, spring and summer). There are only gardening related stalls, as it is a celebration of gardening and presents an enjoyable, abundant and meaningful event.

 

Araluen Tulips

Araluen Botanical Park is a unique world class park of great natural beauty and tranquillity. Volunteers plant over 50,000 bulbs yearly. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it, before exploring Dawsons Nursery Advanced trees, azaleas, camellias, roses, potted colour, herbs, indoor plants etc. Plenty of room under the coach for purchases.

 

Perth Royal Show or Kings Park

Wildflowers, Gorges & Coastal Wonders – August 2026

Join us for a spectacular 5-day journey through Western Australia’s wildflower country, rugged gorges and stunning Coral Coast scenery. Travelling from the South West to Kalbarri and beyond, this tour showcases the very best of WA in wildflower season.

Highlights include the breathtaking wreath flowers near Wubin, Coalseam National Park, Kalbarri Skywalk and Z-Bend Gorge, Pink Lake at Port Gregory, HMAS Sydney Memorial in Geraldton, the Pinnacles Desert, Lobster Shack Factory Tour and the ancient stromatolites at Lake Thetis. Enjoy scenic drives, heritage towns, guided tours, comfortable accommodation and delicious country hospitality along the way.

Travel north through the South West with morning tea at the charming Edenvale Heritage Precinct in Pinjarra before enjoying a scenic drive through Chittering, Bindoon and New Norcia. After afternoon tea, continue through the Wheatbelt to Dalwallinu for our overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2. Tuesday 25 August 2026 Dalwallinu—Kalbarri (B/L/D)

Discover the beauty of WA’s wildflower country with a visit to the famous Wreath Flowers near Wubin, morning tea in Perenjori and lunch at Coalseam National Park. Continue north via Mullewa and the fascinating geological formations of Tenindewa and Kockatea Gully before arriving in Kalbarri Palm Resort

Day 3 Wednesday 26 August 2026 Kalbarri (B/L/D)

Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Kalbarri region including a tour at Murchison House Station, the iconic Kalbarri Skywalk, Z-Bend Gorge, Ross Graham Lookout and Hawks Head. Stunning scenery, rugged gorges and coastal views make this a tour highlight.

Day 4 Thursday 27 August 2026 Kalbarri—Cervantes (B/D)

Travel south along the coast visiting the striking Pink Lake at Port Gregory and the historic Lynton Convict Depot. Stop in Geraldton to visit the moving HMAS Sydney Memorial and WA Museum before continuing to Dongara and Cervantes for the night.

Day 5 Friday 28 August 2026 Cervantes – Home (B/L)

Begin the day with a visit to the ancient stromatolites at Lake Thetis followed by the Lobster Shack Factory Tour in Cervantes. Explore the world-famous Pinnacles Desert before enjoying lunch and a tour at the Gingin Discovery Centre, then relax as we journey home after a wonderful five days away.

 

Hyden Ravensthorpe Esperance Wildflowers – September

Day 1  Tuesday 15th Hyden (B/L/D)

We travel via Collie to woolshed at Williams then via Narrogin to Nature Reserves at Harrismith then we make our way to Kulin to view a quirky bunch of characters on the “Tin Horse Highway.” Onto Hyden to see stunning Wave Rock and Hippo’s Yawn to explore these unique granite formations, and a visit to the Lace place, home to a beautiful wedding dress collection, with hand and machine-made lace dating back to the 1600’s.  Stay overnight at the Hyden Motel.

Day 2 Wednesday 16th HydenEsperance (B/D)

We make our way south from Hyden via Varley, home of the rabbit Cemetery, which is a community tribute to the rabbit plague of the 1920’s. We arrive to see the Ravensthorpe Wildflowers Show. Lunch at your expense today. We travel to Esperance for a 2 night stay at the Hospitality Inn.

Day 3 Thursday 17th Esperance (B/D)

We make our way to Cape Le Grand National Park , view Frenchman’s Peak, Rossiter Bay, Lucky Bay, Thistle Bay, and Hellfire Bay, returning to Esperance Stonehenge before buying your own lunch . and exploring the historic Esperance Museum. A drive along the ruggered coastline for beautiful beach views and finally check out the Pink Lakes and Telegraph Road Lake. Overnight Hospitality Inn Esperance.

Day 4 Friday 18th Esperance—Bremer Bay (B/L/D)

We depart for Hopetoun via Munglinup for morning tea.  Then make our way into Fitzgerald National Park to view wildflowers including the beautiful Royal Hakea and the quaalup bell.

Lunch at Ravensthorpe then onto Jerramungup and Gairdner traveling via Devils Creek Road to view their Royal Hakea at the Western end of Fitzgerald National Park.  Overnight at Bremer Bay.

Day 5 Saturday 19th Bremer Bay –Home (B/L)

Packup and make our way up to the Wellstead Museum then onto Malleefowl Centre in Ongerup. Lunch in Kojonup before travelling to Boyup Brook for a quick cuppa and then on to your drop off point.
